Anna University is located in Chennai which was named on the name of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Late Dr C.N. Annadurai. Anna University was established in 1978 which has 13 Constituent Colleges, 3 Regional Campuses at Tirunelveli, Madurai and Coimbatore and 593 Affiliated Colleges. The university is recognised by University Grants Commission [UGC] and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council [NAAC].

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG & PG Courses
Students who have passed their 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognised board are eligible to apply for UG courses in Anna University. Students who have a bachelor degree with aggregate 50% marks from a recognised university fulfil the eligibility criteria of Anna University for PG courses.

Anna University B.Tech. and B.Arch. Admission
Anna University offers admission in undergraduate courses and programmes like Architecture and Engineering programs. Admission in B.Tech courses will be based on TNEA Counselling and Admission in B.Arch courses will be based on NATA.
Anna University M.Tech. Admission
Anna University provides admission in PG courses of technology and engineering programs. Candidates are enrolled in these courses on the basis of TANCET rank. Students who have qualified the GATE exam in the same year do not have to appear or attempt the TANCET Exam.
Anna University MBA Admission

Anna University Internal Examinations
Anna University follows the semester wise exam curriculum which has Odd Semester and Even Semester. Odd Semester exam held in November-December month and Even Semester exam held in May-June month.
Students must have to fill the examination form to appear in Internal Examinations. Examination forms for all courses are available on the Examination Portal of the official website of Anna University.
